The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 252

Lin Ruoxi turned her head slightly and caught his piercing gaze in the corner of her eye. “Then that’s too bad because I was willing to do anything,” she said before seductively biting her cherry red lip.

“Ru Ru, you are seriously going to be the death of me,” he said before kissing her neck his hand roaming underneath her skirt.

While the Marshal was drilling into his wife on his office desk, Yi Chen was staring at his light brain with a lost expression seeming lovelorn.

As he lay on his bed his thumb kept scrolling through the unread messages on the chat interface with a despondent look on his face.

His door suddenly opened and two heads popped through the door staring at him. They knew that their older brother was the cold silent type but they could most definitely tell when his mood was bad.

Thinking they could do their due diligence as siblings they decided to come and cheer him up with a cup of hot cocoa with little kitty marshmallows floating on the surface.

Yi Youxi placed the steaming mug on the bedside pedestal while Ming Ming climbed on the bed and lay her head on his pillow saying, “We thought dad made you sad so we made you a cup of hot chocolate. Do you like it?”

Yi Chen glanced at the mug while Yi Youxi said, “Made it? The housekeeping robot obviously did.”

.....

“It’s the thought that counts,” said Ming Ming defending herself while licking the corner of her lip with a little hot chocolate left there. That’s because she had eaten one of the kitty marshmallows which resulted in Yi Youxi taking the hot chocolate from her lest all the marshmallows disappeared by the time they get to Yi Chen’s room.

“Thanks but there seems to be one missing?” said Yi Chen having noticed that they were only three of them and the person right next to him looked very suspicious.

“Ha ha... ha, dage, you are seeing things. There were obviously fou-, um three, to begin with,” said Ming Ming laughing nervously.

Yi Youxi shook his head while crawling into the bed too.

“You are so bad at lying. You can never be a lawyer,” he said but she retorted back by sticking out her tongue and saying,

“Jokes on you. I never wanted to be a lawyer.”

Yi Chen, “...”

The room fell into a momentary silence as the three siblings did their own thing. One was playing games, the other watching some animation and the last one endlessly scrolling through his chat interface with his mean boyfriend.

“Are mum and dad still fighting? I am hungry,” said Ming Ming rubbing her tummy, “I want roast duck and wontons.”

“*Sigh I want spicy noodles,” said Yi Youxi his eyes never leaving his game.

After thinking about it a little Yi Chen finally said, “Do you want to go eat out?”

“Yes!”

“Yah!”

They answered simultaneously while staring at him.

“Well, then get ready. We will be leaving in five,” said Yi Chen and the pair scurried off the bed at a fast pace. The reason they were so excited wasn’t that they were going to eat out but the person they were going to eat out with.

Yi Chen rarely ever went out with just them so yep, they jumped off the bed in excitement leaving behind a puff of smoke. They didn’t want Yi Chen to change his mind.

In the office, Lin Ruoxi who was half dressed and getting drilled from behind heard loud footsteps like they were running around doing something shady. Her mum sense went online and she wanted to say something to her husband but just like she was the king in the house he was the king in the bedroom. There was no way he was letting her go.

With his hand covering her mouth, he bit her shoulder while thrusting into her faster and deeper. Her IQ instantly went offline forgetting about her kids who were obviously up to something.

Ten minutes later the group of three were in a private room at a fancy restaurant spending Yi Chen’s money like no business.

Yi Chen was constantly removing any spicy things from Ming Ming’s plate because though she said she could handle it she most definitely couldn’t. Yi Youxi on the other hand was guzzling more fizzy drinks than food thus Yi Chen had to watch over that too.

While he was overseeing the food consumption on the table the moment he had been waiting for finally happened. His sweetheart finally responded but his message was short and concise which wasn’t Zi Han’s style at all.

ZiHan: Do you want to hang out?

Yi Chen’s hand shook bumping into the glass of apple juice spilling some on the table. Ming Ming licked her oil-stained face and asked, “Why are you so clumsy?”

“Look who is talking,” replied Yi Youxi while Yi Chen wiped the table with a napkin. While the two were bickering, Yi Chen opened the message and typed in a quick response.

YC: Yes.

YC: Why did you change your username?

Yi Chen was basically holding his breath when the message went through but it wasn’t read yet. He was so nervous that his palms turned clammy. When the message bubble changed color showing that it had been read, he heaved a sigh his tense muscles relaxing.

(Typing.....)

The typing notice at the top remained like that for a while and Yi Chen almost thought he wouldn’t respond.

ZiHan: I will tell you later.

ZiHan: Uncle Lu will pick you up. Send me your location.

Yi Chen looked at the two minions he had dragged along and suddenly felt conflicted. Either ditch his siblings or make a plan for later.

He decided on the latter but his heart was very aggrieved.

YC: I have my siblings with me so can’t we make a plan for later tonight?

The message was received and read but Zi Han didn’t respond immediately. After what seemed like forever he finally replied,

ZiHan: Bring them along.

Yi Chen, “...”

Didn’t they have stuff to talk about? How were they going to have a private chat with these two around?

Author’s note: Why does it feel like they are about to get kidnapped, all three of them? Huh, interesting?
