Chapter 68 Accidental Smack
Days had quickly gone by, and it was about time for Jiang Ming to return to the academy.
"Did you prepare everything yet?" Yang Liqin asked from behind while tidying up Jiang Ming\'s clothes.
Jiang Ming nodded his head.
"Um, I already got everything necessary for this year\'s examination." He said calmly.
And he continued, "You simply need to watch over the Moon Bazaar for me during my absences. There\'s Hong Ling and Cao Dong to assist you. In addition, you can also request Little Ren\'s assistance with this gold card whenever you want."
"Heh, I really wonder sometimes who\'s the actual adult here. You are even more thorough than me."
"Being thorough is better than being unprepared, aunt."
"That\'s true… I\'m glad that you have finally grown up to be a reliable and confident man."
Jiang Ming smiled brightly as he used his finger and pointed at his cheek, his intention being extremely clear.
Yang Liqin showed a helpless look before glancing at her surroundings.
Once she made sure that no one was nearby or could even try to peek at them, she whispered sweetly, "I better see a healthy Jiang Ming returning."
Afterward, Yang Liqin gave Jiang Ming a passionate kiss before watching him leave the house.
\'Please be safe and sound, Jiang Ming.\' Yang Liqin prayed inwardly as she glanced at his disappearing sight.
Meanwhile, Jiang Ming hurriedly used his movement technique to dash toward the academy.
At the same time, he licked his lips slightly, savoring the sweet and lingering taste of Yang Liqin\'s saliva.
"Aunt Yang really knows how to melt one mouth," Jiang Ming smiled cheekily.
Despite his frivolous remark, Jiang Ming was extremely cautious as he knew someone would be plotting against his death again.
With a swift movement speed, Jiang Ming had officially left the Central District and toward the academy area.
"Why are you in such a hurry, dear~"
Just when Jiang Ming was about to arrive at the academy, a melodious voice went through his ears, sending a chill down to his spine.
After all, that voice belonged to Qi Shan- the daredevil.
"What the heck?" Jiang Ming halted his movement and turned around to glare at her.
"How did you catch up?" He asked in confusion.
"Did you think that by relying on your stupid gaming system items, it could hinder me?" Qi Shan chuckled in humor.
"You are still too naive, bitch." She added and gave a low kick on Jiang Ming\'s stomach, causing him to crash downward.
BOOM!
It was a hard fall, and Jiang Ming was completely dumbfounded.
How could she have dealt such a deadly strike at him?
What if he actually dies?
He was no longer a virtual character that could be respawned by waiting for the timer, but an actual living person.
Jiang Ming quickly rubbed off some dirt that had gotten into his face before showing a fierce expression at Qi Shan.
"Did you know I could have almost died?" He screamed at the top of his lungs.
This time, he was extremely furious, with his veins clearly seen in his forehead. His blood was boiling hot, almost like he was on the verge of exploding.
His action and response had thoroughly shocked Qi Shan.
\'W-Wasn\'t it just the same thing I\'ve been doing to you? Why are you suddenly so fierce and angry?\' Qi Shan exclaimed inwardly, sweats began to appear on her forehead.
Never once did she see Jiang Ming lose his cool like this, not even when she was thrashing him every time during Cultivation Omega.
While Qi Shan was utterly confused, Jiang Ming could only clench his fist as he turned around and proceeded to walk forward slowly.
He was no longer in the mood to speed up his movement nor was he interested in talking to anyone.
Despite that, Qi Shan could vividly sense a dreadful aura shrouding Jiang Ming every second.
Panic brimmed in her eyes as she knew she had really gone overboard this time with the way Jiang Ming had been acting.
Biting her lips softly, Qi Shan slowly hovered down and followed behind Jiang Ming silently, keeping a neutral distance.
She was going to wait until Jiang Ming had calmed down before going up to talk to him.
Alas, her expectations were shattered when Jiang Ming didn\'t calm down at all. Throughout their journey, Jiang Ming was silent and had an expression that blocked people off from him.
\'Damn it, doesn\'t he know why I act like this?\' Qi Shan cursed silently.
She was not used to the silent and dreadful Jiang Ming.
"H-Hey Jiang Ming, can you stop overreacting already?" She asked stutteringly, hoping that his anger should have subsided by now.
Jiang Ming continued to give her the cold shoulder as he continued to slowly walk to the academy.
At the rate of his current pace, he would arrive at the academy in another 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, Qi Shan was feeling extremely uncomfortable about the situation this whole time.
Unwilling to be ignored throughout the journey, Qi Shan finally mustered up the courage to walk side by side with Jiang Ming.
Her hand slowly reached out, tugging on his sleeve.
She took a deep breath and said in a calm yet apologetic tone, "I\'m sorry, Jiang Ming. Can\'t you forgive me already?"
"I know I shouldn\'t have hit you with such a lethal blow, but you should know my race by now. I\'m from the demon race and we always show our affection through smacking."
"Then did you know your smacking would have almost killed me if I didn\'t have the Divinity Flame Body to nullify half of the damage?" Jiang Ming finally said something as he stared deeply at her.
Qi Shan began sweating profusely when she saw Jiang Ming approaching her closer.
She tried to take a step back to retreat but found herself blocked by a wall from behind.
Just when she tried to turn left to retreat, Jiang Ming placed his hand on the wall, parallel to her face.
He then leaned his face closer to Qi Shan, his hot breath was breezing through her.
"Do you know what I want to do to you right now?" He asked calmly.
